New Hotel Le Quai - Vieux Port

The room was fabulous, with tall, beautiful balconies and lovely views. Breakfast served in the room was a treat, and the L’Occitane toiletries were a nice extra. The receptionist gave me a warm welcome and was friendly and helpful. She said it was because I was trying to speak French! The hotel is well located, just moments from the Old Port.

The staff were friendly, and we even got into our room a little early. It was spotless, with a recently renovated bathroom, a mini fridge, and a modern feel throughout. The location is very central for the vieux port, but being one street off the main road made it a bit quieter. I'd definitely recommend it.

Breakfast pastries can be brought to your door in the morning, if you like. Our room was cute and spacious, with air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with a full shower. Service was great, and the location is right by the metro in the centre of Vieux Port. We loved staying here and would absolutely come back.

The staff were wonderful, especially the gentleman at the night desk. He helped with our luggage and opened the side door, always with a genuine smile and a willingness to help. We'll stay here again on our next trip to Marseille. Clean, modern design and very spacious rooms make it a real gem, and the building's original design has been put to good use. The harbour-view rooms and terraces are worth considering, even though the building's position means the views are angled. Prices are reasonable by European standards, and the location is handy for the Old Port. I wish there were more charming hotels like this.
