The restaurant serves 4-5 star food, and the pool has an amazing view. The views from the rooms are beautiful, looking out over the vineyards, and every room has a balcony or terrace. There are plenty of pastries at breakfast and a great choice of jams, if you need that. But breakfast is drastically a one out of five for me. It costs far too much for what you get, the staff seem completely disorganized, plates take forever to arrive, and tables are left covered with belongings from guests who have already gone. That really limits where you can sit. There isn't much cheese or cold meat, either. The hotel itself is fantastic and seems made for a relaxing, luxurious stay, but the number of children made it feel like a kindergarten throughout. Children being there isn't the issue by itself. If parents don't keep them in check or consider how much noise they make, which is normal for kids, the stay can become a horror. The pool isn't a water park, and people should behave accordingly.

It's a lovely, peaceful hotel set high up, with wide views across the vineyards. On a clear day, apparently you can see Mont Blanc too.

The breakfast was excellent, which is why I still give it 3 stars. The hotel and restaurant are very nice, but expensive, and at this price the service flaws shouldn't happen. I ordered the Filet Charolais medium rare, but it arrived well done. They brought me a replacement cooked perfectly 10 minutes later, though it was a smaller cut instead of a slightly larger one. Other places offer better value overall.

The restaurant is amazing, and on a clear day Mont Blanc is visible. The hotel sits on a hillside with a stunning view, and it's peaceful and quiet. I'd highly recommend it.
