Hôtel Les Sources de Caudalie

We stayed in a beautifully designed Prestige Suite overlooking a small creek, and it was so peaceful. The setting had breathtaking views and a serene feel, while the clean, stylish spaces seemed thoughtfully put together. Traveling with our young daughters, ages 4 and 7, can be challenging, but we felt genuinely welcome. They loved the indoor pool, and the team’s warm hospitality made the vacation memorable. We were also grateful for how kindly and flexibly the hotel handled several last-minute reservation changes caused by unexpected circumstances. The food and drinks were excellent, and every detail felt impeccable. Service was high level while still warm and comfortable for a family. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon.

The walking path through the forest at the neighboring winery was incredible and idyllic, definitely worth doing. The property itself is stunning, with rustic countryside winery character throughout, and the service was attentive to every detail. During a 95+F heatwave, the AC wasn’t working well, so they brought me a fan and an AC unit. We had an early morning flight, and despite being short-staffed, the team took our bags, brought the car to the front, and had a little takeaway breakfast ready on time with fresh pain au chocolat, chocolate Madeline’s, and cappuccinos. We also took a cocktail mixology class with Maxime, who was incredible. We asked for the recipes, and they arrived by email at 11p that night.

The spa treatments were such a lush, glamorous experience. We booked facials and body treatments for two hours each, and the massage beds were dreamy. The staff were exceptional, and I left with the Caudalie products they recommended, as I’ve been a customer for years. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a great variety. Then there was the Michelin-star dinner. The flavors, creativity, and combinations in Chef Nicolas Masse’s creations were out of this world. We’ve tried several Michelin-star restaurants while traveling, and this one is now at the top of my list. Les Sources is peaceful and stunning, like a place from a movie, and it was hard to leave. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially Olivier, who made our stay unforgettable. I’m obsessed with our three days here, and we can’t wait to return. A 10/10 experience.

This is a beautiful complex with charming wooden buildings, tucked away enough that you don’t just come across it by chance. Our room looked out over the pond, and the bold colors throughout the design were lovely. Breakfast was excellent, especially the pastries and aromatic coffee made from locally roasted beans. I loved the atmosphere under the tower in the evening, where the bar used to be. One snag was the pre-arrival service, which felt impersonal and unhelpful. Once we were on-site, though, the service was wonderful. I’m still wondering why the difference.
