B&B HOTEL MASSY Gare TGV

Aldjia, Georges, and Isra were especially lovely, so friendly and helpful. The hospitality made this a really amazing experience, and I strongly recommend staying here if you want to have one like I did. Love you guys.

The room was clean, and the heating worked. There’s a market about a 10-minute walk away, while the metro is 17 minutes on foot. If it’s raining, there’s a bus right in front of the hotel that’ll take you to the metro. Aldjia and nacera were amazing, and their service was great. The coffee was really good too. I’ll definitely stay again!

I paid 10 euro extra for a double room instead of the regular room with two small beds, but still got two small beds. There was only one towel in the room. They also wanted a 20 euro deposit for a hair dryer, which I’ve never come across before, and you have to request it at the counter. There was no kettle, either. To get hot water, you had to ask reception to boil it. There’s no telephone in the room, so every time you need something you have to go downstairs. The vending machine was broken too. You basically have to ask for everything. It’s cheap, but with the service and the surroundings, I don’t think it’s worth the price.

It was a nightmare, and I won’t trust reviews of this place again. I arrived by car around 10pm, but the hotel was hard to find, set back from the busy road with shops. With nowhere to stop, I left the car on the road and went to reception to ask about parking and check-in. The guy just said to turn right for the car park and go straight up to the room using the password he gave me. That was all the detail he provided. At night, I had to wander around trying to find the entrance. After I found the parking and left the car, we went into the wrong building because there was no clear sign showing which entrance was for B&B. The buildings were joined together by the parking area, and I spent quite a while figuring it out, still unsure if I had it right. I eventually found my way out and went back to reception, upset that this guy had wasted my precious rest time by not giving enough information. He insisted he had told me everything, but he hadn’t. He was annoyed that I kept pushing and made him come outside to show me. Then he said bad things to me. I got furious at how he treated customers and threatened to hit him. He said he’d call the police if I didn’t calm down. I wasn’t afraid and thought that would be good, because I wanted the police to see how terrible the place was. In the end, he stopped talking. The room was below standard too: no shower curtain, not enough heating, and the light seemed to have a problem. Glad I only spent one night here.
