The facilities didn’t feel relaxing or private. The spa and pool were right off a busy hallway and felt exposed, so I didn’t even use them. The holiday atmosphere was also much more subdued than the online impression suggested. There were a few decorations, but no main Christmas tree or meaningful seasonal activities. Breakfast was so limited that at first I wondered if I’d missed another dining room. The food was consistently BAD, with poor quality and execution, and it was widely overpriced. I left a couple of meals unfinished and was very disappointed. Service set the tone early. Several wait staff acted as though basic requests were a nuisance, making things awkward rather than welcoming. The valet staff, by contrast, were amazing, kind and hardworking. This property falls short of the five-star stay it advertises. The Instagram and website make it look much better, and I would never return.

The staff, the food and the attention to detail throughout the hotel were all outstanding. Everything about the place felt exceptional, a five-star experience from beginning to end. Pure class, nothing negative to say.

They really know how to look after skiers here. They can book restaurants, rent ski gear in house, arrange top-rated instructors and even sort out your lift pass at reception that day. Both restaurants are exceptional, and the cheese-speciality restaurant is a must. This family-owned, respected hotel could be the best 5-star in the Alps. The service is on another level. It’s not just a good 5-star stay, it’s truly outstanding.

Breakfast was fresh, generous and beautifully presented, with plenty of variety for different tastes. The food was top quality, the rooms elegant and perfectly clean, and the service outstanding. A memorable hotel experience from start to finish.
