Avoid this place. When we raised problems with the room access cards and hot water, staff acted as though we'd caused them ourselves. It took around 15 minutes for hot water to come through after turning on the tap. There was only one working outlet in the room, and the beds squeaked. With no AC, we had to leave the window open, so loud traffic kept us awake through the night.

A pleasant, family-run business-style hotel, just a stone's throw from the old town. The rooms are very nice, and the rates are reasonable.

Intermarché is right next door, and the hotel is in the city centre. Even rooms facing the street are well insulated from noise, and the cathedral and mountains in the distance make for lovely views. There's no air conditioning, which is a bit of a shame. You need to be okay with heat, though even at the height of summer the nights are cool. The hotel shows its age, but its original style has a certain charm and the rooms are still pleasant. The restaurant is closed, though breakfast is available and very good.

It's a pity they haven't refreshed this hotel, given its great location and potential. It wouldn't take much to make it a pleasant place. The price seems excessive and needs checking, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Even asking for a coffee makes you feel like you're a bother. What a shame.
