Our room was clean, just right, and had everything we needed, including towels. It was heated, which really matters in winter, and we slept very well. The breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from. The team were welcoming and cheerful, and proud to tell us about their region and places to visit. We'll be back to this hotel with Maisie. Highly recommend!

We tried twice to book for several nights and were turned away both times. In August, the owners said they were tired, taking a break, and not accepting new guests. The second time, they were renovating and would only take regulars. Those refusals led us to a much better hotel, where we were well looked after and the staff actually wanted to work, so thanks for that.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the bedding was impeccable, and it was quiet. Breakfast was perfect, and the hotel is in a very good location. We really appreciated how friendly the staff were and would gladly return.
