Le Domaine du Fortin

We loved the pool, the magnificent views, and all the outdoor seating. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming without intruding. Our room was impeccable, with crisp white linen and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, served in a beautiful dining room with fabulous crockery and cutlery. Highly recommended.

We spent a few afternoons swimming and reading by the garden and pool, which was heated just right. The view of Ménerbes from there is spectacular. César and Phillippe were thoughtful, kind hosts who gave us very personal service and made us feel as if we were in a luxury hotel. The peaceful home and decor are unbelievably beautiful, and breakfast was perfect every morning. Leave room in your plans to enjoy the property and nearby village of Ménerbe. The setting and home are even better than the online pictures. César helped arrange activities and dinner reservations, including an amazing private dinner at the Domaine, and the E-bike tour guide he booked was amazing too. My family had an amazing five-night stay at Le Domaine du Fortin. I research luxury properties carefully, and this one didn’t disappoint. I can’t compare it with other places in Provence or the Lubéron, but we’ve got special memories of this one and are so glad we found it. The owners put their hearts and souls into this beautiful place, and made us feel like part of the family while taking care of all our needs. From the architecture to the art and decor, it all feels thoughtfully done. The rooms have lovely linens and bedding. Tres magnifique! We had an amazing time at Le Domaine du Fortin and you won’t be disappointed staying here.

The gardens and pool are so relaxing, with splendid views of the ancient village of Ménerbes and the Luberon mountains. It’s a place that makes you dream, and in my opinion much better than any five-star hotel. We had a truly wonderful August stay at le Domaine du Fortin. The spacious rooms were beautifully appointed, comfortable, and full of lovely furnishings and thoughtful details. Breakfast was very refined, with the same attention to detail.
