This guesthouse has a lot of character, set in a historic building in the old city, and it’s an easy walk to all the major sights. There are only four rooms, so the place feels intimate. Our room was lovely, with very high ceilings, and breakfast was superb. The owners are incredibly kind and go out of their way to make sure guests have what they need. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return someday.

Place St. Louis and the inner city are pedestrian-only, but there’s a big parking garage in a mall about 150 m away. This is a great base for a few days in Metz, and we loved our stay. The guest house sits right on one of Metz’s main squares. The rooms are quiet, nicely decorated, and have everything you need. Breakfast is generous, and Anne-Violaine and Michael were very friendly and flexible about our arrival.

Michael and Anne were wonderful hosts. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed, including a really comfortable bed and big, fluffy bath towels. The location is brilliant. Everything was perfect, and I’d highly recommend staying here.

Right in the center of Metz, this lovely little hotel has just four rooms and is beautifully styled. Anne-violaine and Michael, the friendly couple who run it, make your breakfast themselves. Anne-violaine studied architecture and is a talented interior decorator who is responsible for the hotel’s design. We stayed in the spacious room with the peacocks. It was a little darker than the other room I managed to photograph. We’ll be back.

The hosts are an incredible family, and they really made our trip. Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade croissants. The location worked perfectly for us, an easy walk from the train station and close to the city sights. We had such a great stay and highly recommend it.
