Hotel Saint Sauveur

The meal was lovely, and the owner deserves a special mention for the beautiful presentation. Everything was fresh and carefully prepared, with an original menu and excellent value. The terrace was especially pleasant. Thanks for a really nice meal, this place is worth discovering.

We had dinner as a couple at this restaurant, which doesn't have rooms. The welcome was friendly, and although they were clearly short-staffed, the manager did her best to stay pleasant. We ate well and thought the prices were reasonable for what we got. The dishes looked original, though the plates felt like a bit too much, apparently designed by a very complicated Spanish designer. I just don't get the idea. It gives me the same reaction as capri pants: WHY?

We stopped in for a meal while walking around the village, and it was such a letdown. The food was average, and the waiter seemed totally overwhelmed and out of it. They even served our red wine in champagne flutes. I'd avoid it.

We found this place under the leaves of a centuries-old tree, with thoughtful, refined food and warm, attentive service. It was a lovely discovery, and one to keep in mind.
