We had two meals arranged by Eric, Diane and Rafael while staying nearby, and both went beyond what we expected. For our arrival, they prepared a dinner to reheat at home: charcuterie and vegetables, fresh pork, creamy potato gratin, and homemade apple tarte with homemade ice cream. Even our grandchildren, who are particular eaters, enjoyed it all. Later, dinner for 20 in the chateau courtyard was splendid, with many ingredients from the garden or sourced locally. Eric was a gracious, hospitable host and shared some chateau history between courses. The wine, entre, mains and dessert were all perfect. The setting is a beautiful chateau in the peaceful woods of Monflanquin, and the chef and menu were fantastic. A memorable family experience, thank you Eric and Diane for sharing your cooking and talent with us.

Lovely walks in the woods, gorgeous grounds and a pool, and the best chateau dog. The chateau itself is beautiful, and the hosts are wonderful. Country life at its best.

We had a great few days at Chateau Ladausse with the family. The pool was a treat, and we also joined Diane’s cooking class and Eric’s wine workshop. The hosts suggested several day trips, and getting to Sarlat, Cahors, and lots of medieval villages and chateaus was easy. We also loved visiting the market in Monflanquin. I can’t recommend the experience enough, thank you!

The atmosphere in this charming chateau is wonderful, and Eric and Diane made us feel right at home. Our two young boys had a great time exploring the unusual setting and playing with Skippy, the resident dog. Simply outstanding, highly recommend!

Eric and Diane welcomed us wholeheartedly into their magnificent home during our three-night stay for a family wedding in France. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and air conditioning, and the chateau is decorated beautifully with all the feel of an old French chateau. We hope to come back one day.
