The quiet setting, with plenty of nature around, made this a lovely place to stay while I was travelling for work. I had a wonderful dinner and evening here, and if I'm in the area again next year, I'll come back.

Our dog was very welcome, and Pascal was such a friendly, easygoing host. He cooked us a delicious three-course meal, too. The house and rooms are gorgeous, decorated with so much attention to detail. We slept well, though the bed was a bit firmer than we like. We'd definitely book again, and probably will. Until next time, Pascal!

The garden was romantic, and we had a lovely homemade breakfast and dinner. It felt like such a beautiful little hideaway, with a wonderful host. Our stay from 2-4 August 2022 was really memorable. We'll be back the next time we travel to the Loire. Lots of regards from Eric, Anna and Therese.

The garden and the host, who is also the chef, were real highlights. Manoire Maucartier is a romantic, secluded inn tucked among trees and wheat fields, about 20 minutes from Tours. It's a beautiful, quiet spot, and I'd highly recommend it.

Pascal clearly loves looking after every guest, from the warm welcome through the impeccable service to the generous breakfast. This beautiful country mansion has a lovely classic interior that brings old times to mind. It was worth every euro, and I'll definitely come back.
