The food was delicious and the service spot on. The wine list is incredible, too. A real find, and one of the most authentic, delicious meals we've had so far. If you're nearby, come hungry and give it a try.

The spa access was wonderfully relaxing, and breakfast was very nice. The staff were kind and spoke English really well. Our room was clean and quiet, with good air conditioning and a smart TV where you can watch things using your own account. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were nice. Dinner was excellent and inexpensive, with a good wine list featuring local options. We had three children with us, and a few things kept this from being a five-star stay: lots of stairs to reach the top floor, with no dedicated access for a wheelchair or buggy; a broken shower door that had to stay open and let water splash out, though staff responded quickly and gave us extra towels for the floor; and a low-quality baby travel cot. Still recommended for a one-night stop, or if you're travelling without children.

Some rooms have no proper toilet door, just a panel open on both sides. That means people in the room can see you while you're using the toilet. The lack of privacy is a dealbreaker for me. I'd rather have a door that closes, even if the toilet is outside the room. Not a good hotel.

The room was very small, but the bed was comfortable. The place was extra, extra clean, with nice decor, atmosphere and lighting. The staff were friendly, and the gastronomic restaurant had delicious food and a wide range of wines.
