Saint Roch Montpellier Centre Gare

A nice little hotel close to the gare. There’s a bridge from the train station that makes it easy to get down to the hotel level.

I had a really pleasant stay. The location is great, the rooms are practical, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s a spa with massage and sauna for an extra charge, while the gym is free. Breakfast could use more vegan choices. I could only have jam and some bread, and had to ask for soya or oat milk each time. I’d certainly consider staying again, and hope there are more vegan options by then.

We arrived early, and the friendly staff made sure our room was cleaned first so we could check in. The hotel is right by the train station and the entrance to the old city. The aircon was nice in the heat, but a bit weak even at maximum, so the room was too hot at night. We didn’t have breakfast, though it looked a little unimpressive.

A clean, modern hotel in a great location, and it was very quiet. I wouldn’t pay for breakfast, though, since the choices were limited and didn’t seem especially healthy. The staff could have been friendlier when we arrived, but those we saw at departure were very kind and helpful.
