Julie & Keith speak both French and English, know the area very well, and are great hosts. We had delicious home-cooked meals, and the garden was beautiful and well kept. The place was clean and spacious, with a fantastic log burner for chilly nights. It would suit all sorts of visits, from a business trip to a couples’ or family holiday. Highly recommended!

Keith and Julie made us feel at home, and Keith would have a lovely warm fire waiting in the living room when we came back in the afternoon. The gîte is spacious and spotless, with a modern interior inside a pleasant old farmhouse. I’d happily recommend it and return. Montreuil-Bellay is worth exploring too, with its fortified walls and century-old houses.

We had a comfortable place to stay in a beautiful setting, with very friendly hosts and delicious home-cooked food. It’s close to major Loire sites and attractions. We’d definitely come back.

We stayed in a lovely rural property and were greeted by a very friendly couple who made us feel at home. Our room was spacious, clean and distinctive, with typical rural architecture. The bathroom was small but well equipped, though the shower itself was a bit cramped and the water pressure wasn’t very strong. Breakfast in the family home’s living room was simple but enough to get the day started, and we could share the space with other guests.
