The meal was well worth waiting for. We booked before noon, but the table wasn't available until 1.30 pm, so we had time to see more of Montreuil-sur-Mer and have coffee across the square. At Em's, service was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere warm. The ingredients are sourced as locally as possible, as listed on the back of the menu. We enjoyed seasonal fresh vegetables, a tasty bonus that's rarely offered in French restaurants. We live in South West France and were visiting the Opale Bay/Picardie area with two friends from England. It was the best meal of our week: Em's delicious French onion soup to start, filet steak cooked 'a point' (medium) for the two men, Pollack fish for our friend, and Volaille (chicken) with a tender, refreshing agrumes, or citrus fruits, sauce for me. My friend and I picked from the glacé menu, and the men said their cheesecake was superb. A big thank you to everyone at Em's.

The Carbonade and chicken were delicious, and the portions were generous. We had a lovely evening, with a great welcome and service, and enjoyed our meals a lot. We’re planning to come back. I recommend this restaurant.

We always feel welcome at Temps d’Em restaurant. The food and atmosphere are consistently exceptional. It’s one of our favourite places to eat when we’re at our holiday home in Attin.

We had a very good lunch on the little terrace in the main square. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The food is homemade, especially the shrimp croquettes, which are hard to find freshly made these days. Definitely recommend those. We also tried the homemade fish and chips.

The location is great, with everything an easy walk away, and the accommodation was lovely. Breakfast was a hearty buffet. You can hear some noise from the square on Saturday night, but we enjoyed it since we’d been part of it earlier.
