The homemade yogurt at breakfast was especially good, and everything else we ate was delicious too. It was the best breakfast we had in France. Our hosts were incredibly kind, and the clean, tidy accommodation had thoughtful little touches that made us feel comfortable. Such a warm welcome.

Pascal even managed to get us dinner reservations at the last minute, and both hosts had loads of useful tourist information. After our recent trip to France, we came home with lovely memories of Les Rives du Cher. Corrine and Pascal were excellent hosts, the place was clean and nicely decorated, and breakfast was excellent. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Just a five minute walk takes you to the centre of Montrichard, with plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. We loved our stay at Les Rives du Cher. Corinne and Pascal manage to be efficient and professional while still making guests feel welcome. The rooms show how much care they put into offering a personalised stay. I’d happily recommend this place and would come back.

The building is charming, set into the local tuffeau stone, and our hosts were so friendly and made sure we had what we needed. Breakfast was tres fantastique.
