The guided trips were a highlight for our family. The hostess is a certified guide, and we booked visits to Saint-Malo and Mont-Saint-Michel ahead of time. With our 10-year-old daughter along, we were amazed at how engaging the tours were, full of stories, mysteries, and details that held both kids’ and adults’ interest. Though we had a car, going with the hostess was the most relaxing and enjoyable way to see Normandy together. The house itself felt like a dream, a real old château. Our child was enchanted by the fairytale staircase, while we had modern comforts like warmth, private bathrooms, and excellent water pressure. Our room was fully equipped and comfortable, with its own bathroom and a private entrance that suited our early walks and runs. There’s a beautiful waterfall nearby, and the area is great for walking or jogging. Breakfast was delicious, so we didn’t have to figure out where to eat.

We were welcomed warmly and had some amazing local food. It’s a charming house, one of the oldest in Mortin, in a lovely little village with beautiful views. I recommend it 👌

Dinner outside was fantastic, with good conversation with our hosts and a Canadian visitor, and we could store our bikes safely. We had a wonderful time at the B&B "La Tour cachée." The Mortain granite house was charming, and our room was spacious and clean. Elena and Pascal gave us a very warm welcome.

Elena took us to eat oysters right on the coast, an outing suggested by the hostess that we really enjoyed. The hosts also know a lot about local history. They were very friendly, the rooms were clean and stylish, and breakfast was delicious. Dinner was tasty too, with fresh cheese and meat from neighboring farmers. Everything was great.
