You can ski back in, and Frank will take you wherever you need to go in the morning to get your day started. The family are great fun, and the rooms are good, with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was lovely, too. This is a fantastic family hotel that gave us everything we could have wanted.

Our group of 16 was left scrambling for somewhere else to stay and transport, and both ended up costing us much more. The hotel cancelled just a couple of days before our trip. Months earlier, after confirmation by email, I’d checked everything over the phone with Michelle Blanchi, who reassured me it was all fine. They wouldn’t explain the late cancellation or why it happened, wouldn’t take responsibility, and didn’t answer calls for hours. Even their own staff seemed ashamed of what the manager had done. Avoid it. The rudeness and stress weren’t worth it.

When we had a problem with our vehicle, the team really went out of their way to help. They were friendly and willing to do whatever they could. The room was clean, and breakfast came with a big selection, including yummy pastries. Five star service. I’d highly recommend it.

Julian, his brother, and the Chef went above and beyond to look after my four year old son. Michelle and her family made us feel at home from the moment we arrived at their hotel this summer. It’s a lovely, well-kept family place, with care taken over every detail. Morzine is so peaceful, and the hotel fits right in. I’d happily recommend Chalet Hotel La Chaumiere and would love to return next summer.
