We called ahead because my wife is vegan. That can be tricky to arrange in Haute-Savoie, but they went out of their way to adapt an existing menu dish for her, and it tasted superb. The location is hard to beat, just off the main street and nicely tucked away. The food and service were very nice too. Our waitress clearly knew her job, was super friendly and professional, and made sure everything went smoothly. We’ll be back and have recommended it to friends and family. Merci bien.

We came as a big family group, from 11 to 74 years old, and everyone was delighted with their meal. The kids shared the hot stone meat, I had amazing cod, and my sister in law’s steak was just as delicious. My brother in law said the Tartiflette was the best he’d had. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere had just the right cosy mountain lodge vibe.

Our service was slow, and the main problem was how inconsistent the portions seemed. We ordered raclette for three, then saw a couple across from us sharing a raclette for two with exactly the same amount of food. We visited other restaurants that week where the quality was better and the portion was decent for three, and some offered unlimited raclette. If this place had unlimited raclette, that wasn’t explained when we ordered.

The food was fantastic apart from the chocolate fondue, which was a little disappointing. The pears were hard and the bananas brown. Some more colourful fruit would have helped, though I appreciate sourcing can be trickier at altitude. We had a lovely meal with the family, but could have done with a few more children’s options on the menu.

All five of us had a wonderful dinner at La Grange, and we agreed the food was delicious. The service was welcoming and attentive. I thoroughly recommend it.
