The staff were genuinely friendly and spoke excellent English, but the room was hard to bear without air conditioning. We had to ask before they offered us a fan, and it didn’t really solve the problem. Maybe that’s common in France, but it was still uncomfortable. Fresh towels and toilet paper, along with room service, cost extra. Next time I’d rather spend a little more to stay closer to downtown.

For just under €250 for five nights, the price was reasonable. We had free, secure parking, and shops and parks were nearby. Our room on the fourth floor also had a very large balcony. The room itself was quite small and not clean: the floors and windows were dirty, and the bathroom smelled bad. There was no hairdryer. With pets allowed and some residents smoking, smells can linger. Parts of the flooring were broken too, and the place needs a proper refurbishment.

The staff were all welcoming, and the place was neat and well equipped. It worked perfectly for cooking my own meals.

The apartment was really comfortable and spacious, with two rooms and a TV in each. Parking was free and private. There’s no air conditioning, but that wasn’t a big enough issue to take away the five-star rating.

There’s a small kitchen and parking, though the kettle isn’t supplied unless you ask for one. A tram stop is within walking distance. Just across the road is IBIS, and Carrefour hypermarket, Big microwave, and Subway are less than two minutes away by car.
