Clara was a lovely host, with heaps of ideas for things to do in Narbonne. I’d definitely visit again. The small hostel has a single 8-bed dorm, with comfortable mattresses and curtains. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, a couch area to hang out in, and a cute little backyard. It’s well located near the city center and train station.

Clara, the owner, was wonderful. This was my favorite stay in the south of France, especially with Europe’s best windsurfing spots very close by.

I felt at home right away. The hostel was beautiful and very clean, and the people were open and friendly. I’ll definitely return if I’m back in Narbonne, and I’d recommend CARPE DIEM to anyone.
