We stopped in just for a meal. The service was fantastic, and the food was absolutely lovely. We had pork and fish with risotto.

We dropped in for dinner on the spur of the moment. The service was excellent, and the food was good for a reasonable price. A pleasant meal, even if it wasn’t anything extraordinary.

The bed was comfortable, and the woman working there was very friendly, doing her best while alone in an empty hotel. Still, I wouldn’t recommend this place to pilgrims. The room was warm and there was no fan or WiFi. I’d been assured through the Logis website that check-in was at 14h00, but when I arrived at 14:30 the hotel was dark and a sign said check-in was at 17h30. Logis hadn’t told me about the change. The restaurant was closed on Saturday, and the spartan breakfast of a croissant, bread and coffee cost €17.

They took the umbrella away while I was trying to order at my table, then never took my order. Maybe it was because of my skin colour.

We sat outside, in front of the Navarrenx tourist office, for a light à la carte lunch. The veloute Dubarry and assiette de charcuterie were both really tasty, just right.
