Breakfast was a lovely part of the stay, with homemade bread, jam, dairy products and more. We enjoyed it in the lounge by the fireplace, where big bay windows look out over the stream and garden. The whole house feels cozy, and our room was very nice. The owner was incredibly kind and added thoughtful touches that made us feel well looked after. We didn't stay in the suite she showed us, but it looked really appealing. A superb place, highly recommended.

Cathy was cheerful and friendly, and both the breakfast and dinner charcuterie board were good quality. The guest room is magnificent, in a peaceful, enchanting setting. For a couple looking to disconnect, this is a lovely getaway. I'd recommend booking the jacuzzi too. 👍

We loved the peaceful, charming setting and the change of scenery. The host was so warm and went out of her way to make the experience a good one. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks again for meeting you and our delightful Belgian neighbors.

The chalet was decorated with real taste, and the bathroom is huge, with a walk-in shower and a spa. We'll have to try the spa next time. Cathy also gave us great tips on places to visit nearby. The owner's welcome was quiet but attentive, and the surroundings are pleasant and peaceful.

The view through the beautiful bay window is captivating, with the river right there. In the garden, Léon the peacock wanders around freely and shows off his magnificent plumage early in the morning. Cathy is a lovely, welcoming host, maybe even a little too devoted to her guests. After talking with her, though, I can see that people return the kindness, and many come back regularly. We may well do the same 😁. If you rent the gîte and have the table d'hôte, don't keep to yourselves. Make time for breakfast or dinner at Cathy's house.
