The beachfront setting makes it easy to enjoy the promenade, and the staff were warm, attentive, and professional throughout my stay. My room was spotless and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious, offered a good variety, and came with efficient service. Music from nearby beach restaurants does carry into the rooms in the evening, which can be disturbing if you're after a quiet night. Even so, I had a very good stay and would be happy to return to this hotel, with its prime location and excellent staff.

The hotel charges high rates but doesn't even include free parking. That felt insulting, especially when the rest of the stay was such a letdown. I expected the quality and service of the Hyatt brand and a 5-star property, but the room felt more like a tired 3-star hotel than a luxury Hyatt. The furniture was shockingly old, scratched, and completely outdated, as if it hadn't been renovated in decades. The bathroom also felt at least ten years out of date. There was a stain on the ceiling, and cleaning throughout the room was poor, which was unacceptable right after check-in. The furniture needs a full renovation, and the cleaning standards aren't at a luxury level. They should seriously consider lowering the nightly rates for this level of quality. There are plenty of true 5-star hotels with modern, state-of-the-art furniture at much lower prices. This isn't competitive or in keeping with Hyatt's reputation. The stay was incredibly disappointing, and I wouldn't return. Save your money and look at the better options in Nice.

The valet and parking were excellent, but the price didn't fit the experience. Hyatt Regency Nice looks the part yet underdelivers: the rooms are dated and need a full refurbishment, and both the service and breakfast were merely average. They used a weak justification to deny an Amex upgrade, and charging for subpar e-bikes feels out of place at a five-star, especially with better options right outside.

That beach club was beautiful and relaxing, and the location couldn't be beat. The rooms are a little dated, but we slept really well in an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice, although the coffee was memorably bad. We had a wonderful stay in Nice. The one snag was being given the very last room at the far end of the hall. I was six months pregnant, so that long walk was a bit challenging.
