Hotel Campanile Nice Centre - Acropolis

For one person with a backpack staying one night, the room could work. Otherwise, there’s barely enough floor space to open a carry-on without tripping over it. It’s not just the small size, but how poorly the space is used. There are no hooks or shelves for your belongings, though those could have solved much of the problem. I’m giving two stars for the bathroom and location. Please make the space more functional for guests.

It’s close to both the old and modern parts of Nice, so you’re right in a central area. The staff were nice, the room was clean and quiet, WiFi was free, breakfast was decent, and public transport was nearby. The hotel was expensive, though, and the room was really, really small. Also, no minibar, which is a big problem if you visit in hot weather. In my opinion, this place suits solo visitors or couples on short trips. It’s not bad outside hot weather, but I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

The hotel was close to the tram station and a department store, which was convenient. I was traveling alone in Nice and found the Campanile stay better than I expected. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and reception staff were friendly and happy to answer all my questions.

The room was small, but clean and practical for the price. We heard some noise from neighboring rooms and the road outside, though it wasn't too disruptive. The location worked well, just a short walk from old Nice. We were able to check in earlier than expected, and both the person who checked us in and the one who handled checkout were great. We stayed for three nights and would happily come back.
