We liked how easy it was to get around Nice from the hotel. We were there for a few days in April with my partner and didn’t need public transport. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, plus large supermarkets such as MONOPRIX and Lidl. The main street is close, but the room wasn’t too noisy. We could also leave all our luggage at a nearby storage service for about 5 euros. Our room was clean, with a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom, and big mirrors in both spaces. It also had lots of useful things: a kettle, coffee machine, plates, cups, cutlery, and a mini fridge. The downside was check-in. Normal check-in is at 15:00, and arriving early costs 30 euros, so after our early flight we had to wait for a while.

The rooms are spacious and really comfortable, though the building’s ground-floor entrance didn’t make a great first impression. It’s an old building where regular families live, but the rooms themselves are extraordinary. The hotel is right by Notre Dame church, on the city’s main boulevard.

The staff were kind and helped me check in a little early, and the hotel is very close to the station. But my room didn’t have hot water all night. When I tried to shower at 2am, it only stayed hot for five minutes, so I had to stop and find a gym the next morning to shower.

For the price, the room was spacious for two, and the location is handy, just steps from Nice’s main road. The service could be better. Also, the elevators stop between floors, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage.

Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable during our October stay. The hotel is in a great spot in central Nice, near shops, the train station, and the Promenade. Everything was excellent, and I’d definitely recommend it.
