Nicolas and Hoby made us feel welcome from the start. We spent three nights in early December, and the B & B is an easy walk from both the train station and town centre. Our room was spotless, as was the bathroom. It had lovely furnishings, a big comfortable bed, and a private balcony looking over Obernai toward the distant hills. Breakfast was good, with cheese, cold meats and rolls, then yoghurt, eggs, jams and juice, plus tea or coffee.

The modern rooms were nice, and we’d be glad to come back. It’s a small guesthouse run by a friendly young family, and breakfast was generous and good quality.

Breakfast was lovely, with a family feel as guests chatted together. Nicolas gave us a warm welcome and helped me even though I seemed to be arriving late. The room was really nice, with a balcony, stylish wood details, and plenty of open space, more like an apartment than a room. Everything was clean and as needed. The location and house were great. All the best to the young family, this is a must in obernai.

Hoby and Nicolas were wonderful hosts. Their tips on things to see around the area, plus good food and wine, really helped make our visit enjoyable. We stayed three nights at La Villa du Coteau last week in a quadruple room, as a couple with our two grown-up kids. It was spotless and recently renovated with great taste. The linens were beautiful and the beds very comfortable. For a trip around Alsace, I’d choose Obernai again, it’s both beautiful and interesting, and I’d definitely stay at La Villa du Coteau next time!

We’d love to come back. The hosts were such a nice, sociable couple, and the place was very clean. Breakfast was very good, and there was a lovely terrace. You can walk to both the town centre and train station.
