I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, especially after reading some of the other reviews, and I'd happily return. My ground-floor room was the cheaper option and had no view, though I assume most of the bedrooms do. The dining room looks out over the mountains. The restaurant had a good range of dishes and a reasonable wine selection. Breakfast was okay, though a little pricier than I expected, and wasn't included in the room rate. My bedroom was clean, the bed and bath linens were spotless, and the shower had plenty of hot water.

A quiet, secluded spot on the hill overlooking Lac Blanc, well away from the city buzz. Seems like a good place to stay in summer or winter.

The owner made us feel welcome, and lunch was delicious. I also had a great view from my room. I’d happily stay here again.

It’s a peaceful place, with a nice room, set in a natural area. Dinner was great, though the boss was grumpy. It’s a large tourist lodge.
