We stayed one night in a family room. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, although some of the fittings were quite worn. The manageress, or perhaps the owner, was there and attentive, which made the place feel safe. We parked in the courtyard and walked into the city centre. All good.

The carpet is really gross. The whole place smells like old carpet with disinfectant over it. The bathrooms have had some updates and were clean, and the rooms were relatively okay.

There was parking on site, and the hotel is on a quiet square. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It's an easy enough walk to bars and restaurants near the cinema, with the old town a bit farther on.

My room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff were charmingly friendly, even if they weren't the most efficient. Not much English is spoken. The hotel itself is dated and a little shabby in places, and breakfast was hit and miss, with things running out before staff quickly replenished them. Its position is great, about a 10-minute walk from the cathedral. It's in an ancient building with a small courtyard off the street and a lockable, equally ancient garage for bicycles.

We loved staying here. The rooms were good and we found parking easily with our car. It's in a beautiful area with lots to see nearby. We're from the UK, and although not much English was spoken, they made us feel very welcome. Breakfast is available for extra, but we didn't try it.
