On the second night, my key card stopped working. My friend and I took both cards to the front desk to have them reactivated, but the staff member first handed my friend a card for Room 405 even though our room was 406. When that card didn't open the door, he said we'd taken someone else's card. I had to point out that he'd given us the wrong one. He didn't apologize, seemed annoyed, and muttered something like “confusing.” After issuing the correct card for Room 406, he asked if we were checking out tomorrow. I said yes, and he replied “Great” sarcastically. His manner was disrespectful and unprofessional. There was also a problem with the hairdryer on our first night. It didn't work at all, so I went to the front desk for help. The staff member told me to press a certain button. I checked carefully when I got back to the room, but there was no such button and the dryer still didn't work. I went back down. He didn't seem to believe me and insisted on coming up to check it himself. Once he'd tested it, he confirmed it was broken, then asked me to go downstairs again to pick up a different hairdryer. I had to go up and down three times over a basic issue that should have been checked before the room was given to a guest. The staff member involved was the male front desk agent on duty that evening, with a beard and a heavier build.
