During our five days in Paris, we came here twice. The waiters were very friendly and spoke good English and Spanish, and you can book online. There’s a really nice range of French dishes, from onion soup and beef tartare to quiche Lorraine.

The duck was really good, but the beef bourguignon was the dish I’d come back for. It was so tender with the mashed potatoes. We started with tzatziki and hummus, which were fine, just nothing special. Eren was welcoming and recommended the beef after we weren’t sure about eating here. The place is cozy, with a view of the classic Paris streets.

We tried a mix of dishes: my mother got the chicken burger, I went for escargot, and we shared duck confit with mashed potatoes and beef bourguignon after our server suggested his favorites. Everything was full of flavor. The duck was a little chewy, though the rest of the dish was fine. The Bordeaux he recommended worked nicely with both meats. We finished with crème brûlée, which was just right, not too sweet, with flaming liquor on top. Our server was kind and patient with us Americans, especially since this was one of our first meals in town. A fun detail: they bring a huge board with the menu, which changes every day.

The friendly, attentive staff are what made this meal feel special. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming, a nice place to relax over delicious food. I’d definitely recommend it if you want a warm atmosphere in Paris.
