A Modern and Unique Loft - Center of Paris

This review is for Dreamyflat - loft Louvre (Rue de Richelieu). I assume it’s run by the same organization, though Google doesn’t seem to have a listing for this apartment. Communication from the property was catastrophically bad. We booked and paid in full months ahead for June 24-28, but heard nothing from the owner and couldn’t find any contact details online. We had to call Priceline/Booking customer support, who set up an internal Booking.com email channel. The property then said the address and entry instructions would arrive three days before we got there. Nothing came. The day before our flight from NYC to Paris, we called Priceline again. Finally, Booking.com, not the owner, emailed us the address, a building code, a YouTube video link, and the combination for a key box. Please take this seriously: when our family of four, including young children, arrived after flying from NYC to Paris, neither code worked. The code in the message was 1809B6. The one shown in the video was 31B782. If you’ve booked this apartment and received either code, they will not work. The phone number from Booking.com went unanswered. No one replied to our texts, the internal Booking.com emails, or contact@dreamyflat.com, which Priceline had provided. We spent a long time trying to get Priceline and Booking.com to reach the property, but they couldn’t. If you’ve had good communication and received a different code, maybe everything will be fine. If you haven’t heard from them, or got one of those codes, call your booking company right away. Our reservation was eventually “cancelled” while the situation was being resolved, which meant I couldn’t leave a formal Booking.com review. I hope this helps another family avoid the frightening and consequential situation we faced.
