The washroom was my biggest frustration. The door handle was coming off, so the door wouldn’t close easily, and the exhaust fan barely worked. Smells from the bathroom spread into the room and built up overnight, so we had to air it out. Luckily it was cool enough to open a window, and the neighborhood was relatively peaceful. The shower and bathtub were poorly designed, and the loose glass panel made me worry water would get everywhere. The location was convenient, close to the metro, a mall around the roundabout, and various restaurants and stores. For a smaller Paris budget, I thought the room was a decent size: I could open my carry-on between the bed and window and still walk through, and there was room for a full-size suitcase by the full-length mirror. The memory foam bed wasn’t bad, though it wasn’t very firm and I eventually sank into my own indent.
