Best Western Hotel Ronceray Opera

The receptionists, especially the two young men, were amazing and very helpful. We had a comfortable double bed, and since we only slept in the room, the limited space around it was fine. The standard room layout is tight, though there are good wardrobes for clothes. Check the room plans before booking. The shower was small, which suited someone petite like me, but the step down was slippery when wet. I felt I needed to hold the rail going down. The breakfast buffet was okay. It’s a busy neighborhood with plenty to see and eat, lots of bars, and shops to browse. There are metro and bus stops very close by, and the main attractions are walkable, though a bit far. We liked the area and found the price reasonable, though still expensive for mid-October. Staying nearer the major sights would cost a lot more. I’m a light sleeper, and the street below was very noisy, with people at the bars late into the morning. I could hear the people in the next room talking, too. My husband didn’t mind, but I’m not a city girl.

Everyone who helped us was kind and friendly, and the service was great. We liked the rooms, the price was good, and breakfast was amazing. I’ll definitely look at booking here on my next trip to Paris.

We found the rooms in need of major renovation, the breakfasts tasteless, and the reception staff unprofessional. It felt like they deliberately gave us the worst rooms because we were staying for just one night. The only thanks go to the two young women working mornings, who were the only ones who tried to help. We do not recommend this hotel and will never stay here again. See the attached photos and videos for yourself to judge the “3-star level.” For what we paid, there are much better hotels nearby. Be careful. This isn’t Best Western, it’s Worst Western!

After learning that my mother would be having surgery, I had to cancel my December 2025 trip. They refused to make an exception and refund me. I’ll never consider staying at this hotel or any Best Western.
