Campanile PRIME - Paris 15 Tour Eiffel

We could barely sleep in the Paris heat because the tiny rooms had no air conditioning. The shower cubicles were cramped and uncomfortable too. There was also a strange gap between check-out at 10:00 AM and check-in after 4:00 PM, and despite asking, we never got the room cleaned. A very disappointing stay.

The location was handy, near metro stops and the Eiffel Tower, but the price made the stay feel underwhelming. The lobby looked nice and modern in the photos, while much of the rest of the hotel seemed dated. There was an unpleasant smell in the lobby and corridors. Our room was especially tiny compared with others. Luggage storage was just a small cupboard that didn’t seem secure and couldn’t hold all our bags, and checkout came quite early.

I hadn’t realized this was near The Eiffel Tower, but aside from that surprise it was a nice, well-run chain hotel in the lower-middle price range. Nothing fancy, just good value. I’d call the location the edge of central Paris, in a non-touristy area, with decent Métro connections and places to eat nearby.

The room was so cramped that with a double bed I could barely move around, and it smelled damp. The toilet and shower were inches apart, and it was only sort of clean. The internet didn’t work, which also meant the internet-connected TV was useless. For what they charge, you get very little. Much better rooms are available for less elsewhere. I’d only recommend staying here at $80 or $100 a night.
