Citadines Bastille Marais Paris

We had a four-person apartment with two TVs, a comfortable setup for a trip. The staff were wonderful and helped us with everything. There's also a storage room where you can leave your luggage on departure day. A great aparthotel for a stay in Paris.

I've stayed here twice, once in fall and once in winter, with two people and a dog. It's in a very convenient spot, with reasonably priced and safe underground parking. The rooms need repairs, but they seem clean and well maintained. The kitchenettes are well stocked, and the staff have mostly been quite friendly. I'd recommend the hotel.

The staff were very nice and the location is great, but the apartment was like a bad student dorm and badly needs renovation. It didn't match the photos on the ASR booking site. The bathroom smelled moldy, the fridge was broken, and the coffee machine was an ancient filter model, unusable and nothing like the Nespresso or similar I assumed it would be. ASR should renovate these apartments or describe them more accurately.

The staff made this feel like a little Paris hideaway. Every morning and evening, they greeted us with “Bonjour” or “Bonsoir,” and the free tea and coffee each morning was a lovely touch. It’s affordable, close to the metro, buses, little bodega-like shops, and only a block from the Bastille. The building seems to be a clever conversion of apartments that must have been state of the art in the 60s and 70s. The beds were two singles pushed together under one sheet. As a plus-sized guy, I didn’t mind, especially after long days out; I was exhausted and slept soundly with Paris murmuring beyond the window. If you mainly need somewhere to leave your bags, shower now and then, and get used to France’s hard water, this place works well. I never had a bad stay.
