Citadines Tour Eiffel Paris

The location was good, but the room's comfort and the service left us disappointed. We were there for about a week, and a few days in the AC stopped working. It got so hot in the Paris weather that relaxing or sleeping properly became difficult. The room had seemed okay at first, but the AC issue ruined the stay. For a hotel that's meant to be higher quality, especially a four-star one, that really wasn't acceptable. When you're paying a lot per night, working air conditioning is a basic expectation, particularly in summer. It didn't feel worth the price at all.

The location is great, with the Eiffel Tower and surrounding area within walking distance, and Rue de Commerce just around the corner. We stayed after Christmas and there was a nice big pine tree in the lobby. Our one bedroom apartment was spacious and seemed to have had some updating, but the heater barely worked, so it was cold most of the time. The corridors were dark, old, and tattered. The state of the shared areas and general maintenance really let the hotel down. The breakfast was pretty sad, as others have said. Don't pay extra for it, there are lots of food choices nearby. We had kids who wake early, so we chose it, but adults can skip it. There's a laundry floor that you pay to use through an app. It all worked, though for what each wash and dry cost, the area could be kept in better shape. There were no laundry baskets or clothesline for hanging clothes. Probably wouldn't stay again.

We had a one night stay in a room with an Eiffel Tower view, and it was amazing. I had read complaints about metro noise since the station is right in front of the hotel, but we found it completely bearable. The metro, grocery stores, and places to eat like mc donald's were easy to get to, and the receptionists were very pleasant. 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

The room was spacious and practical, but sleeping there was impossible. My room was on the fifth floor, and the hotel sits on top of a metro station. With the trains passing, the whole building literally trembled every single minute. My husband could even hear the noise over a video call. Unbelievable.
