4/10
The breakfast charge was removed from my invoice as compensation, even though I hadn’t eaten breakfast. I paid 460 for two nights during low season, December 2-4. The reviews are great, but my stay felt like it was at a different hotel. I complained that the bathroom was dirty and that the room was generally ugly and dirty. I asked for the beds to be made into one double and was told my complaints would be handled and that I’d get an email. Nothing came, and even the toilet wasn’t cleaned after I complained.

2/10
The room was small and felt quite dated, and we won’t be coming back. Service was almost nonexistent: nobody helped us during our stay, and the staff seemed indifferent. They even asked for €10 to check in early although the room had been ready for two hours. I wouldn’t recommend it.

10/10
The courtyard was charming, and the staff were warm and helpful. It’s a cute little boutique hotel with plenty of bakeries and local places to eat within walking distance. It sits a bit north of the touristy Paris buzz, which also means less traffic and a quiet, pleasant, safe-feeling stay.

The staff were really attentive and kind, and the hotel is very easy to reach from Gare de L’Est. I’d recommend staying here anytime.

Friendly staff and a convenient base for getting around. The hotel has a quaint charm, and our room was clean. Highly recommend it.
