Hotel du Danube Saint Germain

Our room was the Prestige Room, and it was incredible: spacious, beautifully decorated, and divine. The bath was a treat after long days out in Paris, and the L’Occitane local products added a lovely touch. Jessica made us feel welcome and at ease at check-in, while Anwar at breakfast quickly learned how we liked our coffee and juice and greeted us with a smile each morning. Marco, the Hotel Manager, wished us a Happy New Year and surprised us with a thoughtful little gift on the bed. Everyone went above and beyond, turning a stressful last-minute Airbnb cancellation into one of our most memorable stays. We’re grateful to the whole team and would gladly return and recommend the hotel. 🤍

A beautiful old hotel, with a great room that was huge by Paris standards. The soundproofing was so good we couldn’t hear anything. Service was amazing too. The carpet and headboard were dirty, though, and the room could use a refresh.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and full of character, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. A receptionist suggested a few nearby restaurants, and we tried one with great results. Hôtel du Danube is also ideally placed, with the Louvre Museum and Musée d’Orsay a short walk away and the lively Saint‑Germain‑des‑Prés area close by. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next Paris trip and would recommend it to others.

My first time in Paris felt much less daunting thanks to this welcoming hotel. The staff were all great, especially Rudy, the only person whose name and personality I really got to know because he was so lively and funny. They gave us great recommendations, helped hail taxis, which I expected to be easy as someone from NYC, and even taught us some conversational french. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in the country.
