Grand Hotel Lafayette

Breakfast had plenty of fresh choices and was delicious, and the hotel felt peaceful. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, just what we needed after a long day travelling. The staff were attentive and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was also easy to get around from this location. Everything was better than I expected, and I’d gladly stay again and recommend Grand hôtel Lafayette.

I asked the lobby staff whether they could offer a solution or another room with a private bathroom, but they couldn’t. The shower and bathroom are inside the room without proper separation, so other people there can see you showering. I had to ask my roommates to leave whenever I wanted to shower, which shouldn’t be necessary in a hotel. I’ve travelled extensively and stayed in plenty of small rooms, but this was easily the most uncomfortable layout I’ve experienced. I wouldn’t recommend it if privacy matters. Friends travelling together or families should think carefully before booking. In my opinion, it may suit couples who are comfortable with that much openness.

The hotel was near everything we needed, and the staff were lovely and polite. They spoke English too, which made things easier for us. My partner brought me here for my birthday, and we had such a good time. We came on February 12th. The room was really nice and clean, with a lovely shower. Thanks for having us, we’d definitely recommend it and hope to come back 🙏🏻

We’ll definitely return. The room was peaceful, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast and amenities were better than we expected. Everything was thoughtfully designed and well looked after. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help with a smile. We left with wonderful memories.
