Hôtel Barnett Paris

I came to Paris alone and wanted somewhere safe, nice, and reasonably affordable. This hotel ticked every box. It’s clean and nicely decorated, and the classic room was spacious and comfortable for my five-day stay. Toiletries are provided, and if you need extras, just ask. I’d forgotten conditioner and they had some. The hotel has lovely lounge areas, plus a gym and sauna in one private space that you can book for a 45-minute slot. Having it all to yourself was great, and robes and slippers were provided. The attentive, kind staff met every request with a smile. They lent me an umbrella when it rained, and stored my bags at checkout while I explored on my last day. The hotel is right by the 95 bus, a fantastic route that goes straight to central Paris. The neighborhood felt safe, which was essential for me as a solo female traveler. I’ll definitely stay here again.

We’ve only just checked in, and we’re already so impressed. The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful, and the welcome treat of orange-infused water and madeleines was a perfect touch. The wonderful receptionist made everything really easy. My boyfriend is very tall and broad-shouldered, so the cozy room we’d first booked was too small for us. She handled the change to a larger room so smoothly and flexibly. Thank you so much!

The Double Premium room was very good, with a quiet atmosphere and a very comfortable bed. Front desk and breakfast service were both very good, though housekeeping needs improvement. Breakfast itself was good too, but I don’t think cappuccino should cost extra. The location is very quiet and safe, about 25 minutes from downtown Paris by Metro lines 12 or 13. The spa and gym were good, though there aren’t any loungers to relax on after using the sauna.

We booked this place after learning at 4am that our first hotel had bedbugs. They took us in, and we stayed for three more nights. The rooms are luxurious and clean, the amenities are generous, and the staff are the friendliest. It was such a pleasant experience that I’d definitely book again. We were on the fourth floor, where our window had a small balcony and lots of soft lighting. Breakfast room service was excellent too, and only €25pp. If you want a comfortable, luxurious place to stay in Paris Montmarte, book this one!
