The staff really stood out for their effort and attitude, and we had a very enjoyable stay. We travelled with two dogs, who were welcome throughout the hotel except in the dining area. Staff even provided a dog bed and water bowl in our room. It’s easy to walk to major sights and shopping, and the metro is a short stroll away. Parking was simple too, in a secure car park just across the street. Booking ahead is definitely worth it. A couple of comfort issues kept this from being five stars. We could hear noise from the hallway and neighbouring rooms, and late arrivals felt uncomfortably close when we were trying to sleep. Our key cards also kept deactivating, which was annoying on the fifth floor. Those issues were fairly minor in an otherwise positive stay, and we appreciated how hard the staff worked.

We stayed in a family wing with two rooms joined behind a shared door, which gave us plenty of space for the heart of Paris. The boutique hotel is close to the champs Elysee, very clean, and serves a hearty breakfast. The staff were kind and helpful. We’ll certainly return if we’re in Paris again.

The bed was acceptable, but for the high prices the stay fell short. The property looked much older and more worn than the online photos. Neither the bathroom sink nor the bathtub drained properly, which was a real inconvenience. I paid extra for air conditioning, only to find it turned off. When I asked, I was rudely told it wasn’t necessary. It’s frustrating that hotels in Paris can charge so much while staying in such poor condition. Hotels and services elsewhere in the world are reaching new levels, and most hotels in other parts of Europe are worth what they cost. This one definitely isn’t.

It’s my first time in Paris, and I didn’t like the room they put me in. It was small, with a little window looking out at the pipes. They said there were no other rooms. There was no main light, just a light on the side, and the air conditioning wasn’t working because we were inside the room. No air was coming in.

The staff were very nice and friendly, and the location is great. The rooms are a bit small and definitely need work, though. If you just want a decent place near the arc, it’s a good option.
