The location was the best part, and for what we paid, it was totally worth it. Breakfast was good, and the room where it was served was quiet. In the room, the amenities were great and it was clean enough, though a little small. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I did have a bit of an allergic reaction to the bedsheet in the morning. The walls are also thin, so you can hear people talking in the hallway.

You pay more for the location than for the hotel itself, I think. The rooms are small and a little dated, but still cozy and comfortable. Great location.

We stayed in April/May 2025. The bathroom had one odd detail: the toilet seat was larger than the toilet bowl. Apart from that, it was fine. Our room was clean and did what we needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great spot, with easy access to nearby sights and metro lines.

We had a family room with our daughter, and the facilities were excellent. The air conditioning was very welcome. The service was really lovely, and Hotel Eugene is in an excellent location. We had a truly wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were nice, but our fourth-floor room had a bathroom that smelled awful, maybe of mold, mildew, or sewage. I had to hold my breath to go in. The ceiling beams were low enough that we hit our heads, and the toilet was awkwardly placed. Thin walls also meant it was noisy.
