The location made it easy to explore on foot or by public transport, and check-in was straightforward. They said we’d been “upgraded,” which may have set our expectations too high. The room felt shabby and less modern than I expected from other Accor hotels, and it was missing a few basics. Staff were friendly but didn’t help much, and left out some key information at check-in. The hotel was below par and took away from an otherwise excellent holiday.

The staff were great and made room for our baby son Ith, providing a child bed and moving us to a room for three. The rooms are large and comfortable, and cost much less than other options in the same area, such as Airbnb. The hotel is very well placed, about 5-10 minutes from the train station, a few metres from the metro and close to some really nice restaurants and places. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in paris.

The location, breakfast and staff manners were good. But the way our room request was handled was disappointing and unprofessional. My family of four had booked two double rooms and emailed ahead to ask for connected rooms. The hotel kindly offered a triple room plus a connected double room, and we accepted. When we arrived, those rooms weren’t available. Reception apologised and said they’d try to arrange two connected rooms for the next day. In the morning, they told us the hotel didn’t have connected rooms: rooms that were once connected are no longer, because the door between them is permanently locked. They tried to explain it as an error in the email exchange. After this, I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending the hotel to a family of four or five with kids.

We were there for only six hours, arriving late at night, checking in and having a quick breakfast before leaving early. As we started eating, the receptionist caused a lot of confusion by saying breakfast wasn’t included in our package. My husband is an Accor member and very meticulous about travel bookings. We hadn’t made a mistake or left anything out. This was our fourth Ibis hotel in France during a ten-day trip before heading home, and this one turned out to be the most unpleasant. The receptionist apologised to my husband later, but I found it obnoxious, unprofessional and extremely irresponsible to announce in the cafe, before checking, that our breakfast wasn’t included. Other guests watched and seemed disturbed too. The apology didn’t do much to fix it; our breakfast and experience during that short stay were ruined. Accor needs to apologise to my husband. We’re loyal members of Accor.
