The staff are why I'd return. Everyone, from the man who checked me in to the woman clearing breakfast dishes, was friendly and went out of their way to make the stay great. I booked three nights because of the location, and the room was clean, with proper hangers and quiet, effective air conditioning. I'd recommend it for decent accommodation at a fair price.

Adrien was pleasant and very helpful when he booked us in after our train was cancelled and we were stranded in Paris. The air conditioning was a godsend on one of the hottest days. But with my 84-year-old father and his wheelchair, the fifth floor was dangerous and unsuitable. The lifts are tiny, and only one was working when we arrived just after 3. At 6.30 both were out of action, leaving Dad stranded in the hotel until they came back on at 8.45 that night. We told the staff, but they didn't seem interested. It didn't feel safe in an emergency. Our phone didn't work either. Leaving at 5 in the morning, we were in darkness, and the receptionist didn't speak or acknowledge us or ask how things had gone. She eventually switched on some lights. The ramp up to the hotel is far too steep, and it took two men to push the wheelchair up. It was disappointing and expensive, and not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it.

The common area was nice, and being able to check in early was great. But homeless people were blocking the entrance, the room was incredibly small, and getting a simple invoice was complicated.

I was travelling alone and needed a cheap place for one night before catching the Eurostar, so I kept the price and my expectations in mind. The location made it easy to get straight onto the train in the morning, and I got a quick breakfast before leaving. They also let me check in at 12:30. The room was a little small, but at that price and in that location, I wasn't expecting a huge apartment.
