Sonia made sure everything was going well during our stay and was so kind, supportive, and understanding. Since I don't speak French, she helped with all my questions in English. The breakfast buffet was great, and tea, coffee, and water were available all day. The hotel is close to Metro 9, which reaches all the major tourist spots, and there are supermarkets and local restaurants all around. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Paris.

The M9 is just around the corner, which is great, though the area itself is quiet and doesn't have many restaurants or cafés. The employees were really friendly and did their absolute best to help us. Our first room had a strong sewage smell from the bathroom, but they moved us to another one. In the new room, the air conditioning seemed locked or broken, so I had to ask reception every night to turn it on and set the temperature. That was a bit of a hassle, though the staff were nice about it. The rooms need renovation and a deep clean of the walls. We could hear everything from other rooms, and doors slammed loudly through the night. One thing that bothered me was parents letting kids play videos at full volume at the breakfast table. It was overwhelming and rude. A sign asking people not to do that would help, though I know that part isn't the hotel's fault.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel for young women traveling alone. The neighborhood didn't feel safe to me, and the hotel itself didn't feel secure either. I stayed one night last April and ran into several red flags. On the way to a nearby supermarket, I was catcalled, and after dinner at a nearby restaurant, someone followed me back. I stayed inside for the rest of the night because I was afraid to go out, even for a drink. Early the next morning, while waiting for my car, I found the hotel's front doors practically wide open and didn't feel comfortable waiting in the lobby. A very kind janitor checked in on me, but the situation still felt sketchy. Later, I accidentally booked this hotel again when I meant to book Mairie de Montreuil, which is wonderful. I called the Hotels.com agent as soon as I realized and explained that I'd felt unsafe staying here, but they said I couldn't get a refund and didn't seem to care. I expected an American company to take a client's safety seriously, especially when young women traveling can be vulnerable.

We stayed four nights as a family of four. The rooms are very small, and the storage really only suits one person, not two. That didn't bother us much since we weren't in the room a lot. Breakfast had plenty of choices, including muesli, crepes, bread, and cheese. The hotel is close to public transport, and the staff were friendly and helpful to us as non-French-speaking guests. We'd stay again.
