The rooms are old and in bad condition, and it doesn’t look like they’ve been renovated. Be careful with the pictures, because when you get there, it’s something else. I wouldn’t stay there.

The location is good, close to the metro, but the hotel is a dump for 65 euros. Our room smelled of smoke, there was street noise, and everything was old and in terrible shape. The receptionist smoked all night, and the room was terribly smoky. The photos make the place look better than it is. We barely made it through one night. It’s no more than a one-star hotel, more like a homeless shelter than a hotel. I’ve never seen anything like it anywhere in the world. The next day we stayed at Classics Hotel Parc des Expositions for the same price, and that was a real 3-star hotel.

The owners are really, really nice, and the location is perfect, right in a central, pleasant neighborhood. The place is a bit chaotic and the view was nice. It was super cheap, but the room wasn’t luxurious, so it’s okay if you don’t expect much. We liked our stay even though the furnishings and service felt a bit worn and less than ideal.

The hotel is comfortable and right near public transportation. There’s all sorts of stuff close by, from cigarettes to phone credit. A five-star place.
