La Reserve Paris

We spent a month here as Covid restrictions were beginning to lift. The apartment was beautiful, with an Eiffel Tour view from the balcony, and it had everything we needed. It also had a washer and dryer. Housekeeping refilled the water, juice, and other items every day, and the housekeeping staff were so nice and helpful. The front desk team went out of their way to help us, especially since it was our first time in Paris. They found an English-speaking vet for our pets and helped with whatever else we needed. Housekeeping also came in to make breakfast in the morning. Since dine-in options were still limited because of Covid, they arranged a private dinner in the apartment for us one night. It was a splurge, but totally worth it. An amazing experience.

A huge, very discreet apartment facing the Effeil Tower, in a small private hotel with 10 apartments of around 250m2 or more. The staff are friendly and can prepare breakfast or help with whatever you need. We’ll come back again and again.

The service was poor, especially for what we paid, 4000 euros per night. They made so many promises to get us there, but didn’t deliver. I should’ve trusted my first impression that the place seemed desperate. How did I get reservations for five the same day for two nights when every other five-star property was booked? When you’re on vacation, you expect to pay more than you should, and the money itself isn’t even the point. If you pay the price they ask, you should get the service they promise. This was my mistake, and I hope people read this and make the right decision. If you go anyway, they’ll apologize for everything they didn’t do. The general manager is a great salesperson, but hides and sends her employees to handle the problems. A sad operation.

We had a wonderful dinner and stay at this incredible place. The staff greeted us personally on arrival and quietly arranged all sorts of details to make the night memorable. They set up the dinner table with candles, then prepared breakfast exactly to our requests. Our apartment was clean and tastefully decorated, and we had lovely moments out on the balcony by the dining room. The staff even helped take a picture so we could remember the evening with the Eiffel Tower sparkling in the background.
