I’ve stayed at quite a few Paris hotels for work, and this is the one I’ve liked best so far. The rooms are lovely, the bed is comfortable, the location is good and well connected, and the included breakfast was pretty good. I stayed for two nights, arriving late the first evening. I was welcomed well enough, given a key, and told about the facilities, including that the spa was open every night until 10 pm. After work the next day, I bought swimming shorts and got back around 7 pm, only to find the spa closed for a private party. I was unhappy, especially after spending money on swimwear. At checkout I got a bonjour and nothing else. Nobody asked how the stay had been. I’ll try the hotel again on my next work trip and hope it goes better.

The metro is about a five-minute walk away, and other transport is right outside, so getting around was easy. We celebrated my partner’s birthday here, and he was over the moon. There’s a special room setup available for an extra charge, and the joy it brought him made it worth every penny. Joseph was a wonderful host throughout. He anticipated what we needed, dealt with small questions right away, and made us feel valued. His warmth and professionalism, along with how helpful his team was, made a huge difference. Our room was beautifully appointed, spotless every day, with the bed made perfectly and tea supplies replenished. The views were stunning too. I’d imagined how magical an Eiffel Tower view might be, but the view we had was just as captivating. The bed was so comfortable, and switch-operated built-in blinds made the room dark. We also loved the spa facilities, especially the intense, rejuvenating steam room. The bathrobes and slippers added to the experience. This is the best place I’ve ever stayed, and we’re already planning to return. The hotel, and especially Joseph, set a new standard for luxury and hospitality.

Moïse at reception was excellent. He was courteous, friendly, and always willing to help with whatever came up. His professional but warm manner made the stay much more enjoyable. He really cares about guests.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant was the letdown. It didn’t meet expectations, and I wouldn’t suggest eating there in the evening. Luckily, Paris has plenty of great places to eat nearby. The rest of my stay at this boutique hotel was wonderful. The interiors are modern and beautiful, and everyone I met was welcoming and friendly. They all spoke English, which made communication easy. The spa was gorgeous and included with the stay, a nice way to relax after exploring the city. The hotel is also handy for the subway and train lines. Breakfast costs an extra €20 per person, but I thought it was worth it: fresh, organic food, nicely presented, and warm, attentive service. I’d highly recommend the hotel for its staff, design, spa, and location.

The friendly staff, clean rooms, and pleasant decor made for a good stay. A few things kept it from being a great one. The pool was much too cold. My partner and I expected a heated spa pool, as is common at other spa pools, but we could only stay in for two or three minutes. It was strangely as cold as a full-size swimming pool. One evening, we watched several couples try it, shudder, and get out after a few minutes with the same reaction. We mentioned the temperature to a very friendly staff member, who said it was normal. I hope the hotel considers warming it up. Every couple we met seemed to think it should be warmer. One couple even moved to the bubbling end, perhaps expecting a hot tub, but soon left disappointed. The steam room also heated up unpredictably fast, going from pleasant to unbearable in about a minute. We couldn’t find a gauge or control to adjust it, and my partner and I had to leave because staying there had become unpleasant. I use steam rooms and saunas at my local gym and can handle heat, but this changed intensely and unreasonably quickly. Maybe I missed a control, but I couldn’t spot one. Then, around 5 or 6 one evening, I went to the bar for a cappuccino. Nobody was behind the bar, and only one staff member was at the check-in desk. I waited 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. When I got the staff member’s attention, they were polite and explained they were the only person working at the front, so I’d have to wait. There were already two or three couples queued at check-in. After 20-25 minutes I gave up and returned to my room. I don’t blame that staff member, who was in a difficult position, but waiting that long for a coffee order at a four-star place isn’t acceptable. One person can’t reasonably handle all the check-ins and bar orders at that time. They need more help. I hope these comments are useful going forward.
